    Many people come to the first conversation without a clear problem or goal. The conversation exists to help make sense of what’s going on, not to arrive with a plan.

  • No. It’s a chance to talk and see whether coaching would be useful. There’s no obligation to continue, and no expectation that you’ll decide anything on the call.

  • No. You’re not locked into a programme. We review the work as we go, and you can pause or stop at any point.

  • It varies. Some people have one or two sessions to think through a specific situation. Sometimes around 6 sessions is the right amount of time to support change. The shape of the work depends on what’s actually useful.

  • That’s a valid outcome. If it becomes clear that coaching isn’t the right support, we’ll say so. The point of the first conversation is clarity, not conversion.

  • No. This work focuses on creating space for clear thinking, understanding situations more fully, and deciding deliberately what to do next.

  • That’s normal. You don’t need to be certain before getting in touch. The first conversation exists so you don’t have to decide anything in advance.

  • Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is treated as confidential.

  • Sometimes.

    We may agree on something between sessions if it helps thinking continue or helps land what we’ve explored. This might be a short questionnaire, some reflection, or a small real-world experiment.

    Nothing is automatic or imposed. We decide together what, if anything, would be useful.
